Added news flash section on the home page. Moved the updates all to the same page. Easier to get through the home page now.
Also been fixing random pages, deleting old stuff, changing font sizes, putting the email addresses of those who have written essays, etc. I'm working through the files alphabetically, and I've now finished with the e's. It's going way faster than I thought, and so I'm hoping I might be finished going through everything by the weekend. And then I'll start the serious updating. (Sofy)

The Island is back! Well, ok, it's been back for a week or so already, but Trixx uploaded without giving me time to write a little message. Heh. We are back in force with a new layout and new webmasters helping us in our quest to make The Island a lively and frequently updated website.
Cala Jane is working day and night on The Shower House, looking for icons, wallpapers and manips that will be admired by all of you wonderful readers.
Adrian is still working on The Plot Bunnies, but unfortunately, not many are posted to the list these days. Post challenges! All of you!
We also have a wonderful crew of archivist over on The Library, working to upload the stories posted to both the mailing list, and the livejournal community.

And so, it's with pride and joy that I present you the new look of The Island! (Sofy)

Angel the Series is going to be cancelled at the end of this season. To try to prevent that, fans all around the world are signing the online petition. Go on, it can't hurt.

Played around with the Palace a bit and added a new membership. To the Spike/Wesley fanlisting. Finally added the last two parts of the round robin. I just pasted them at the end of the rest. It's still unfinished, but after almost a year, I don't think it'll ever be done. If anyone of you wanna give it a try, then you're welcome to. Also, I have a new icon. Ain't it cool??

Added the game, You Know You're A Slashaholic When... to the Dojo and the Rebellion Bunker. It was started on m-mSlashaholics at the end of July and quickly gathered around 50 responses. Go read, it's well worth it.

Hello guys! I'm back! I've moved into my own apartment, so that's the reason why I haven't updated before today. So, for today's news:
The Reading Room is now open. (go look in the Museum for more details)
I fixed the link to Star Swathi's fics, for those who are interested and I'm sure there's a lot of you. Sorry for the delay.
The Site Map has been updated and I've fixed some typos/grammar/spelling/syntax errors on a lot of pages. Thanks to Kaz for pointing out the mistakes to me.

I've been randomly cleaning up some writer's rooms in the past few days. Not much, but about 5 more of them are now clean.
Also, The Island now has it's very own clique. :-) Look in the Huts section for more details. It's not fully functionnal yet, but it will be tomorrow. You can still join already if you want. :-)
Changed a bit of the splash page, as you've probably seen when you entered the site. Not a huge change, but I find it nicer this way. And I updated the Site Map.

Put the layout up on the Shower House. Added 5 beta readers in the Mansion. Added outside links for Resources and Mailing lists in the Caverns. They're outside links to No One Knows, my Giles/Xander website. Soon, I'll put the links up on the Island directly. Still working on stuff... see ya.
